Life Groups

7:00 pm, Wednesdays & 10:00 am, Fridays 
Year-round
Life Groups are an opportunity to meet in smaller groups for discipleship. We eat and get to know one another, study God’s Word, and pray.​​ We have three Life Groups that meet throughout the week in and around Markdale. If you'd like to join a Life Group, we will find a place for you and your family in the Life Group nearest you! (Inquire about joining by Zoom if you're unable to join in person.)

Prayer Ministry & Meetings

​​7:00 pm, first Monday of each month
MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING We lift up prayers of praise, and pray for our church, our community, and our missionaries.
WEEKLY NEWSLETTER Please email your prayer requests to contact@markdalebaptist.org by Thursday each week. 
SUNDAY MORNING We share prayer requests during our service. If joining by Livestream, text yours to 519.375.2449.
If your situation is too personal to share, you can simply ask someone to pray with you. ​

55+: Merry & Mature

​The M&M (Merry and Mature) group is for those 55+. We meet for fun and fellowship. All are welcome!

Women: Ladies Coffee Hour

9:45 am, first & third Tuesday of the month
Fall, winter & spring
Ladies Coffee Hour is a time of fellowship and refreshments while studying the Bible or a book. Occasional special weekend meetings occur throughout the year. (Children welcome!)

Women: Titus Tea Time

10:00 am, alternating Tuesdays with Ladies Coffee Hour
Year-round
​Titus Tea time is an intergenerational opportunity for the women of MBC to fellowship over tea and tasty treats as “older women…teach what is good… [to] the young women” (Titus 2:3-5). We discuss marriage, motherhood, and homemaking. (Children welcome!)

Family: Fabulous Fridays

10:00 am, first Friday of the month

Fabulous Fridays is an opportunity for the homeschool moms and children of MBC and churches we've partnered with. We have a short time of singing and a Bible lesson, followed by free play, crafts at various stations, and a snack.

Children: Nursery

10:00 am, Sundays
Year-round
Nursery facilities for children up to the age of 3 are provided*. A TV is available in this space to watch the service.

Children ages 4 and up are currently joining their parents for family worship in the service. Colouring and Activity sheets are available.

Children: King's Kids

3:15, Mondays  |  Beavercrest Community School
School-year
King's Kids is a ministry held at Beavercrest Community School for the children of the community. We have a time of singing, a Bible lesson, games, crafts, and a snack. All children from JK to grade 8 are welcome to join us, including children who do not attend BCS. Please fill out the registration form below before attending.

Adults: Barnabas

Barnabas is a ministry of The Bluewater Association of Fellowship Baptist Churches. It is a part-time, free, local Christian education resource for Christians looking to be equipped as disciples. ​Are you a leader looking to be equipped to lead? A ministry team member looking to be equipped to serve? A faithful Christian wanting to grow in their faith? Someone curious about exploring further Christian education? If you answered 'yes' then Barnabas is for you! ​Barnabas is open to all Christians in Grey/Bruce.

Missions

As a church, we support local, regional, national, and international missionaries (Acts 1:8) in our fulfilment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20).
