​Day of Prayer for COVID-19

MBC joined our sister FEB (Fellowship Evangelical Baptist) churches in the Central region in a day of prayer for COVID-19 on February 7. In addition to it being a focus in our morning and evening worship services, individuals from our church prayed in hour-long time slots from 6 am to 10 pm.  It was a great blessing to join together to pray for all aspects this pandemic.  

A Christmas Outreach – A Nativity Scene

We have a new Nativity scene as part of our Christmas community outreach.  The scene was created over several work sessions beginning in July and was installed in front of our church sign on November 29.  For photos of the process and the finished project, please click here.

Ladies Coffee Hour Breakfast

Vacation Bible School

What a fantastic time we had at Vacation Bible School this year!  Thank you to everyone from the three churches (Church of the Nazarene, Markdale Presbyterian and Markdale Baptist)  who came together to help deliver this important program August 12 - 16th. And thank you to the parents for bringing your children to spend this time with us.  What a blessing! ​

Community Yard Sale

A big thank you to everyone who donated or helped with our community yard sale held on June 8, 2019. We really enjoyed meeting everyone in the community that came out and over $850 was raised for the Markdale District food bank!

A New Chapter

This past Sunday we thanked Ken and Mary Ann Jolley for their ministry to us over the last year and welcomed the Crocker family, as Chris becomes the new Pastor of Markdale Baptist Church.  A great time was had by all as we praise God for this new phase in the life of our church.
