Lead-Elder ("Pastor"): Chris Crocker

Chris Crocker has been the pastor of Markdale Baptist Church since 2019. He also teaches Church History part-time at Toronto Baptist Seminary. He is also a 4th generation beekeeper. 

From 2014–2019, he was the pastor of a chapel in rural England, while also pursuing further studies. Prior to that, from 2008–2014, he served in rural ministry in Ontario and as Canadian Army Reserve Force Chaplain. 

Chris was born and raised in rural Elgin County, Ontario, and came to faith in Jesus at a young age. He's been married to his wife since 2006 (though, they've known each other since primary school). Together, they have one son.
