Membership at MBC

Thank you for your interest in joining MBC. 
The requirements to join MBC membership:
  1. Providing a credible confession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
  2. Showing the fruit of faith.
  3. Having been or desiring to be baptized as a believer by immersion.
  4. Agreeing with our Statement of Faith and the Fellowship National Statement of Faith.
  5. Agreeing with the ethical statements and Church Covenant which are found in our Handbook (to be received when you've expressed interest in membership).
  6. Pledging to abide by our 18-page governance Handbook.
​To become a member:
  1. Speak to an Elder.
  2. Complete the application below when asked.
  3. Meet with an Elder(s) to determine membership eligibility and ask questions about the Handbook.
  4. Provide a written testimony for the Elders/membership.
  5. Upon recommendation to the members, be affirmed at the next convenient Members’ Meeting.
  6. Sign a statement of agreement with our Statement of Faith.
  7. Be welcomed through the right hand of fellowship at the next observance of the Lord’s Supper.
