What to Expect
Everyone is more than welcome to join us in our worship services as we glorify God together! We hope our times of worship will help you to come to know the Lord more deeply and experience Him in your life. If you are visiting you may wonder what you can expect in a typical worship service...
A typical service includes a welcome, a time to highlight announcements from the life of the church, quiet prayer, the opportunity to sing songs of praise throughout the service, sometimes a brief creative lesson (children’s time, video, puppets, drama, etc), a family prayer time, a Bible reading, the Lord's Supper (once a month) and a sermon (a reflection upon the Bible reading). A time of response is provided in response to the sermon in the evening service (i.e. group discussion, ask the preacher, panel discussion, etc).
Our music is blended, meaning we try to sing the best of the old and the new.
Some folks dress up for worship while others come more casually. If you are visiting feel free to come as you are.
Our morning worship service last anywhere between 60-75 minutes. Folks come early and stay afterwards to chat.
A nursery for babies and small children is provided, along with children's church for older children, during the morning service. A self-serve nursery is available during the evening service where parents can still hear the service.
