2024: Gospel Beginnings

In 2024, we are alternating in our study between Genesis and Mark. Both books are “beginnings” and are foundational in learning and reviewing the basics of following Jesus (discipleship).

Genesis is foundational to a biblical worldview (Creation-Fall-Redemption). In it, we find the Gospel in seed form as early as Gen 3:15 and follow Abraham’s family through whom God would bring salvation to the nations. In Mark–the shortest Gospel–we discover the fulfilment of those promises and learn much about following our Lord through His life and ministry.
